Magic Conference

We’ve spent the past two days at the Magic Ruby conference in the Contemporary Resort conference centre at Disney World.  It was mostly for programmers/web developers, but since not all of the talks were geared in that direction, even I could appreciate it.

It was a fun kind of conference which mixed the introduction of some of the emerging trends in programming, mixed with some random but interesting talks including meditation and coding, visualization, and loving your customers. It’s not as hokey pokey as it seems, but it gave a different spin on some things which made you think a little bit.All in all, it has been quite enjoyable.

The Contemporary Resort was also pretty cool as it has the monorail track running right through the middle of it.

By the end of the night, there were some great fireworks going on in Magic Kingdom. They really know how to put on a good conference.
