Beach beauty

As I said, last night we parked at a boat launch and so we awoke this morning to the most beautiful view.  I would say that if we had paid for a site last night at Sebastian Inlet State Park we would not have been so privileged.

We still wanted to to return back because we had some housekeeping things to attend to like shower, laundry, filling up our water reserves and dumping our dish washing water tank. So we did backtrack slightly to go to Long Point Recreation Centrer which charged $4 for a day pass and we were able to do all that we needed without paying the fee for overnight – bonus!

So we got a lot done in the morning and we continued to head south along the A1A and happend upon Avalon State Park which is actually a really great undeveloped beach front.  They charged a $2 day use fee which was well worth it for the view. We even broke out the solar panels and got the batteries charged.

We hung out there and plotted our next plans – staying there until they closed at 5pm. We continued on south to a Port Selerno Walmart before we called it a night.
